Differences between the World Books?

Hi,
We have the older World books and I'm almost positive they are the same except for the front cover. I remember either reading about it or speaking with someone about it.
Got ours years ago for about $3 each at a KB Toys outlet.

I posted this question on HB a month or so ago and someone replied that the artwork on the cover was the only difference. From what I can tell (Please correct me if I am wrong) older versions are not available for Kit and Kaya. Am I correct about this? I have the older versions for Molly, Samantha, Josefina, Addy, Felicity and Kirsten that I bought on eBay as a lot. I then ordered the Kaya and Kit books from overstock.com. My older versions do not have dust jackets but the newer ones do. I'm not sure if my older ones were just missing the dust jackets or what. If you want the covers to match I would say go with the newer versions. HTH.

Are there any differences between the World Books from the older smaller picture of the girl to the newer version with a larger picture-besides the cover art work?

I am trying to decide which ones to get (older vs. newer) but I want to get all matching front artwork.
